Some deliberately sunk to accommodate the growing activity of wreck diving, examples of these are the Portland located 10 miles east of Port Linton Inlet. The 145 foot MV Pilton which can be found just a few miles south of it offers another spectacular choice.
There is good visibility, plenty of interesting marine life, and temperate waters making these dives simply stunning.
With an average depth of 75 feet, a myriad of swim throughs and interesting crevasses to explore (both out and inside these beautiful wrecks) one dive is never enough!
